two whole hours

I had two whole hours to myself today.  I couldn't decide what to do.  There were so many things I could've done:
  • bead
  • clean & organize
  • read or reply to emails
  • dye my hair
  • apply for jobs
  • call a friend
But instead . . . I just sat & played solitaire on my couch (yes - the 25 year old couch with rips in it that I let the kids jump on).  What's up with that?

  1. Ah, yes, mindless relaxation where are the rules are all known and the cards are all random. There's something wonderfully liberating about knowing what you can control and what's random, knowing exactly what it takes to win, and being able to sweep it all up anytime and reshuffle. I might play my self a game or two- sounds like a great antidote to much of adult life.
