I've been wanting new leather couches for a LONG time. The one we have is 30 years old - literally (let's hear it for high quality, durable furniture).
However, after this little incident yesterday, I'm reconsidering :-)
Wow- now there's some couch energy! I find that sometimes new stuff is so much more comfortable and better but sometimes I feel constrained from living my normal lifestyle because I have to protect the new stuff. Tough call.
